Unsecured Business Loans - Fuel Your Business With a Low Cost Finance

Filed under: The Loans + Credit Hub — admin @ 12:06 pm

Every business has a vision and a mission to follow. But, to achieve these, entrepreneurs need to have leadership expertise and adequate capital to finance the business. You may have the vision to reach the new heights in the world of business, but lack of funds may be stopping you from using your skills. You need not feel disheartened, unsecured business loans can provide you with the funds you need for making a mark for yourself as a “business tycoon”.

Businesses vary on the basis of size. A business could be of small, medium and big size depending on the capital invested and the scale on which business operate. Businesses are also categorized on the basis of ownership or on the way they are managed such as sole proprietorship, partnership and corporations. An individual requires capital to start up or expand the business irrespective of the size of the business. Unsecured business loans can work as a great help in such cases.

Unsecured business loans are designed specifically for UK businesspersons to finance their need for capital to start up or expand a business. Unsecured business loan offers flexibility to a borrower; he can use the loan for any purpose. Purpose of borrowing an unsecured business loan may vary from person to person. The amount borrowed with an unsecured business loan can be used for the commencement of business, expansion purpose, to finance the asset or equipment purchase and refinance or to restructure finances. Some entrepreneurs use the loan proceeds as a working capital. It allows a borrower to preserve his cash and working capital.

The best thing about an unsecured business loan is that it does not require a borrower to put a security against the loan. Thus, the borrower’s property is not under any risk of repossession.

Unsecured business loans are available for amounts ranging form £15,000 to £ 250,000. The repayment period of the loan vary from 1 to 20 years depending on the amount of loan a borrower wants and his or her credit history. This loan is best suited for short term and small cash needs.

A borrower by applying for an unsecured business loan gets the following benefits:-

o Retention of the Ownership - An entrepreneur can retain the current ownership in his company instead of raising funds by selling interest in his company to an outsider.

o Cash Flow management- Unsecured business loan provides borrower an access to capital with minimal up-front payments and the flexibility to design a loan repayment schedule suitable to your finances.

o Tax Advantage- Interest on the loan is tax deductible. Thus, can help in saving hard earned money of the borrower.

Each loan requires a borrower to pay interest on the amount borrowed. Unsecured business loan are usually provided at higher rate of interest as no collateral is put against the loan. You can either choose to pay a fixed interest rate or variable interest rate on the amount borrowed. In a fixed rate business loan, the interest rate applied to the outstanding principal remains constant for an agreed period that may be the loan term. Variable interest rate imply that rate of interest on the loan is not constant and fluctuates to common standard rate.

You need to understand the fact that the lender is entitled only to the interest on its loan. You are not liable to pay any percentage of the profits or a share in the company that an investor would expect.

A good credit history is always useful while applying for a loan. In case of an unsecured business loan, absence of collateral makes it necessary for a lender to recognize or identify the credit worthiness of the borrower to avoid any default by the borrower in the future. Higher the credit score, higher is the possibility of getting a cheap and fast loan, so work on your credit score and you will see it doing wonders for you.

Though, there are various lenders in the finance market. Online lenders can help you overcome all the shortcomings that you must have faced while borrowing from the traditional lenders. Apply for an online unsecured business loan that will save your time and money. You just need to fill up a small application form online which hardly takes few minutes and the lender will get back to you with the appropriate loan option. If you are looking for the best loan, then don’t relax. Collect loan quotes from various lenders and compare them, I assure you will definitely end up with the best deal.

How to Profit From Your Ad Space in this Economic Downturn

Filed under: Universe Of Marketing — admin @ 10:35 am

Recent research predicts that the online ad market will decline by 25% in 2003.**

In 2004, net advertising is a buyer’s market.

Everyone has seen the media spotlight focused on the big dot-coms who, dependent on ad revenues, have either gone out of business or been forced to cut back.

Unfortunately, it’s the same story for small business owners. The economic downturn leaves many potential advertisers much more reluctant to pay the prices they would have a year or two ago.

I recently came across a message board where one advertiser summed it up this way: in these hard economic times, she has read that people are less willing to make purchases. This means that she is much more at risk to suffer a loss rather than make a profit.

Like most people, this advertiser does not have any extra money to spare - and certainly none to lose to a failed ad campaign. To turn the odds in her favor, she regularly goes bargain-hunting for ad specials.

Frustrated webmasters and online editors are feeling the pinch of lost ad revenues. This is particularly evident with the recent launch of ad auction sites such as WebmasterBids.com and EzineAdAuction.com. These sites are specifically meant to aid newsletter editors and webmasters in selling their remnant ad space - space that would otherwise remain unsold, the profits lost forever.

This doesn’t mean that you can’t benefit from your ad space! Quite the contrary. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Encourage Customers to Book Multiple Ad Slots. Offer large discounts on multi-ad packages. This is a win-win situation - your customer receives excellent value, and more of your ad space is booked with less stress.

2. Auction Off Remnant Ad Space. As mentioned above, there are at least a couple of places where you can put your unsold space up for auction. If you prefer you can set a ‘reserve’ price, under which you are not obliged to sell.

3. Offer Incentives to Subscribers and Previous Advertisers. Your own mailing list is a great source of advertisers! They’re familiar with your newsletter and know what type of exposure their ads would receive. Previous advertisers also have this type of first-hand knowledge. Encourage them to book with you by offering great incentives - free bonuses, significant discounts, or anything else of value.

4. Swap Ads. Approach other editors within your niche market and offer to swap ads. This is a great way to increase your exposure, fill your ad space, and do it all without spending a single dime.

5. Barter. Is there something you need but just haven’t gotten around to doing it? Use your ad space as a bargaining chip. For example, you could ask a graphic artist to create a banner or eBook cover for you in exchange for ad(s) in your newsletter. To sweeten the deal you could offer an ‘endorsed’ ad.

6. Go the Extra Mile. Provide prompt, friendly, and reliable service to encourage repeat orders. A little extra attention goes a long ways!

In the meantime, if your business relies heavily upon ad revenues for profits, start building another viable income stream. For example, one model that’s becoming increasingly popular is the content-rich, fee-based membership site.

Companies that are overly-reliant on ad revenues have a choice: adjust to the ever-changing world of the Internet, or risk going out of business.

We’ve all heard the phrase, ‘Never put all your eggs in one basket’. That’s good advice for every online business owner.

IF YOU’D LIKE TO KNOW WHY READING MATTERS

Filed under: Life Of Lifestyle — admin @ 8:58 am

HERE ARE SOME OF THE REASONS WHY READING IS SO IMPORTANT FOR
CHILDREN.

WHY DO WE TELL CHILDREN TO READ ?

We’re always telling children that books and reading are good
for them, but have we ever really thought about why that’s true
? Exactly what do older children get out of reading novels ?
What do younger kids get from being read to ? Does reading
matter ?

The purpose of this article is to say that, yes, it’s true,
reading really is important, and that there are some solid
reasons why that is so. Let’s begin with the practical benefits
and then move on to the less tangible rewards of a life filled
with reading.

BOOKS HELP CHILDREN DEVELOP VITAL LANGUAGE SKILLS.

Reading is an important skill that needs to be developed in
children. Not only is it necessary for survival in the world of
schools and (later on) universities, but in adult life as well.
The ability to learn about new subjects and find helpful
information on anything from health problems and consumer
protection to more academic research into science or the arts
depends on the ability to read.

Futurologists used to predict the death of the printed word
but, ironically, Internet has made reading more and more a part
of people’s daily lives. The paperless society is a myth. The
computer’s ability to process and analyze data means that
endless variations on reports and other types of documents can
be and are generated. Internet, itself an enormous new source of
information and recreation, is based on the humble written word.
To effectively utilize the web and judge the authenticity and
value of what is found there, both reading and critical thinking
skills are of prime importance.

The more children read, the better they become at reading. It’s
as simple as that. The more enjoyable the things they read are,
the more they’ll stick with them and develop the reading skills
that they’ll need for full access to information in their adult
lives. Reading should be viewed as a pleasurable activity - as a
source of entertaining tales and useful and interesting factual
information.

The more young children are read to, the greater their interest
in mastering reading. Reading out loud exposes children to
proper grammar and phrasing. It enhances the development of
their spoken language skills, their ability to express
themselves verbally. Reading, by way of books, magazines or
websites, exposes kids to new vocabulary. Even when they don’t
understand every new word, they absorb something from the
context that may deepen their understanding of it the next time
the word is encountered. When parents read aloud to children,
the children also hear correct pronunciation as they see the
words on the page, even if they can’t yet read the words on
their own.

READING CAN OPEN UP NEW WORLDS AND ENRICH CHILDREN’S LIVES.

As mentioned above, reading opens doors - doors to factual
information about any subject on earth, practical or
theoretical. Given the wealth of available resources such as
Internet, libraries, schools and bookstores, if children can
read well and if they see reading as a source of information,
then for the rest of their lives they will have access to all of
the accumulated knowledge of mankind, access to all of the great
minds and ideas of the past and present. It truly is magic !

Through books, children can also learn about people and places
from other parts of the world, improving their understanding of
and concern for all of humanity. This, in turn, contributes
towards our sense that we truly live in a “global village” and
may help us bring about a more peaceful future for everyone.
This can happen through nonfiction but, perhaps even more
importantly, reading novels that are set in other places and
time periods can give children a deeper understanding of others
through identification with individual characters and their
plights.

Through stories and novels children can vicariously try out new
experiences and test new ideas, with no negative consequences in
their real lives. They can meet characters who they’ll enjoy
returning to for comforting and satisfying visits when they
reread a cherished book or discover a sequel. Books also give
kids the opportunity to flex their critical thinking skills in
such areas as problem solving, the concepts of cause and effect,
conflict resolution, and acceptance of responsibility for one’s
actions. Mysteries allow children to follow clues to their
logical conclusions and to try to outguess the author. Even for
very young children, a simple story with a repetitive refrain or
a simple mystery to solve gives a confidence boost. Children can
predict the patterns and successfully solve the riddles.

Children are influenced by and imitate the world around them.
While a steady diet of violent cartoons may have a detrimental
effect on children’s development, carefully chosen stories and
books can have a positive influence on children, sensitizing
them to the needs of others. For example, books can encourage
children to be more cooperative, to share with others, to be
kind to animals, or to respect the natural environment.

READING CAN ENHANCE CHILDREN’S SOCIAL SKILLS.

Although reading is thought of as the quintessential solitary
activity, in certain circumstances reading can be a socializing
activity. For example, a parent or grandparent reading a story
aloud, whether from a traditional printed book or from an ebook,
can be a great opportunity for adult and child to share some
quiet, relaxed quality time together away from the rush and
stresses of the business of daily living. They share a few
minutes of precious time, plus they share the ideas that are
contained in the story. In addition, older children can be
encouraged to read aloud to younger ones as a means of enhancing
their relationship.

At school or at a library story hour, books can bring children
together and can be part of a positive shared experience. For
some preschoolers this may be their primary opportunity to
socialize and to learn how to behave around other children or
how to sit quietly for a group activity. Make the most of this
experience by encouraging children to talk about what they’ve
read or heard.

READING CAN IMPROVE HAND-EYE COORDINATION.

It may sound funny, but ebooks can be a way for children to
improve their fine motor skills and their hand-eye coordination,
as they click around a childfriendly website or click the
backward and forward buttons of online story pages. They may
also be picking up valuable computer skills that they’ll need in
school and later in life.

READING CAN PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH PLENTY OF GOOD, CLEAN FUN !

I’ve saved the most important point for last. Reading can
provide children with endless hours of fun and entertainment.
All of the pragmatic reasons above aren’t at all necessary to
justify reading’s place in children’s lives. Stories can free up
imaginations and open up exciting new worlds of fantasy or
reality. They allow children to dream and may give them a good
start on the road to viewing reading as a lifelong source of
pleasure; so read to your young children every day. Inspire your
older children to read. Give them access to plenty of reading
material that they’ll enjoy and discuss it with them. Sample
everything - traditional printed books and ebooks on Internet,
classic children’s novels and fairy tales, as well as more
modern stories.

If a child wants to hear the same story over and over again,
don’t worry about it. Children take comfort from the familiarity
and predictability of a beloved story that they know by heart.
There’s no harm in that. Reread old favorites and, at the same
time, introduce your children to new stories. Your child’s mind
and heart have room for both.

SO READING REALLY DOES MATTER AFTER ALL!

There are so many ways in which reading continues to be both a
vital skill for children to master, and an important source of
knowledge and pleasure that can last a lifetime. Nurture it in
your children. Make the most of all the resources that are
available and waiting for you: printed books, online books,
magazines and so forth. Encourage follow-up activities involving
creative writing skills and the arts, as well, so that your
children can reflect upon or expand on what they’ve absorbed
and, at the same time, develop their own creativity. As you help
your kids appreciate the magic of reading, you’ll find that
there’s a whole wonderful world full of children’s literature
out there that YOU can enjoy too.

Me? Owning My Own Business?

Me? Owning My Own Business? (Part 1)

Freedom is something we here in the United States cherish. We,
as a nation, have never been defeated, within our borders, by
any other nation. Our ancestors fought for freedom. We have
demonstrated, as a nation, the fulfillment of the American
Dream: the idea that prosperity, wealth and financial
independence are available to anyone willing to put forth the
effort through honesty, hard work and strong determination.

Therefore, the concept and expectation of freedom seems to be
engrained within us as Americans. This being the case, we
naturally tend to rebel against any form of tyranny or
oppression. 9/11 demonstrated this, as at least some form of
patriotism became strongly evident. We value the freedom to make
our own decisions and live our own lives, without fear of
reprisal or repercussion.

We value the freedom to create our own schedule, own personal
property, and voice our own opinions, in a world filled with
dictators and mad tyrants. We value our leisure time, as sales
of sports equipment, video games, and many other items relating
to recreation will testify.

Freedom is one thing that makes the idea of a home-based
business attractive. You can make your own hours, set your own
pace, and not worry about someone else telling you what to do.
Being your own boss is an idea that sounds really good to many
people, at least in theory.

How to use Flash in your site and still be search engine friendly

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:28 am

Do you want to have a feature rich web site with animations,
sound, and an opening splash screen?

Do you want to use Flash extensively on your site but you are
afraid of hurting your search engine positioning?

Do you require an opening splash page but were told that the
search engines could not index your site if you had one?

Well there are ways to have the benefits of Flash on your site
and still be attractive to search engines. It is all in how the
Flash is used. Some of the methods are simple while others
require more programming experience. But we all can use Flash
without driving away the search engines.

First let’s look at the problem. Search engines index a site by
looking at the content. In this case we are talking about text
content, not pictures, video, sound, or animation. A basic rule
of thumb on having a very search engine friendly site is to have
high quality, targeted content in text form and limiting the use
of anything that can get in the way of the search engines
analyzing this content.

But what about Flash? Flash converts everything into a Flash
file, or SWF file playable by the Flash Player plug-in. All the
text in this Flash file will be converted from text to vector
graphics, and since the search engines cannot read text in a
graphic, they will be unable to read the text in a Flash file.
Therefore they will be unable to index the information in the
site.

So how to we get around this seemingly insurmountable problem?
It is all in how we use Flash in our site. The trick is to
either wrap the Flash inside normal html coding, or by using
xhtml you can have Flash display text from an external source. I
will limit this article to the easier methods for using Flash in
a search engine friendly manner.

Let’s look at the three main ways we may want to use Flash on a
website:

1. Splash Page 2. Flash navigation 3. Flash content

Starting with the Flash Splash page there are a couple of ways
to handle this. If we just have the Flash Splash page as the
opening page to our web site there will be no way aside from the
meta tags for the search engines to index the page, let alone
find any more pages in your site.

The trick here is to give the search engines something to work
with. This can be easily done in two ways. You can put a text
only navigation bar just below the splash screen, this way the
search engines can at least find the other pages in your site.
But to allow the search engines to index the actual splash
screen here is a neat trick. Place the Flash file in a layer,
you can then float that layer over the web page allowing you to
hide all the plain html text you want underneath the Flash
layer. This has the added benefit of giving content to visitors
who do not have the Flash player installed on their system.

With a Flash navigation bar things are much easier. As long as
only the navigation is in Flash the rest of the page can use
search engine friendly text, plus you can put a text only
navigation bar across the bottom of the page so that the search
engines can find the rest of your pages. This is a good idea
anyway and one that I always follow. Plus when a visitor reaches
the bottom of your page they have some links to follow without
having to scroll back up the page to your navigation bar.

Using Flash content in your web site follows the basic
principles outlined above. As long as you have some text based
content for the search engines to index you will be OK. I have
found that having Flash animation on the top of my page where it
fills the screen, followed by additional text is a nice hybrid
approach. It gives your visitors the content rich experience you
want to provide plus gives the search engines all the text based
content they need for proper search engine indexing.

If you really want or need a complete Flash site there is one
more thing you can do. This requires more work, but it will keep
your site in the search engines. Create two versions of your web
site, one in Flash and one using regular HTML. Have a simple
home page that allows visitors to select either the Flash or
HTML version of your site. Include on this home page your main
keywords and navigation links to at least your site map and main
pages so that the search engines can find their way around your
site. This gives you the best of both worlds, the fully feature
rich Flash site, and a search engine friendly HTML web site.

One final note, Google now is able to index Flash files, pulling
out the text content from the SWF files. This is a great advance
and allows us to use Flash more freely on our web sites, but
note that they are pulling the TEXT out of the Flash file. So in
order to make your Flash files Google friendly you need to
include your search engine optimized text as text inside the
Flash file, just like you would in a regular html web page.

So with proper planning and a few tricks we can have a very rich
Flash site and still benefit from easy search engine indexing.

Soy and Autoimmunity

Filed under: The Smart Nutrition Way — admin @ 7:59 am

So many Americans are turning to what they believe to be a “health food”, but are actually hurting their immune systems. Soy is NOT a health food. If you have an autoimmune disease or are pregnant, you should be especially careful to avoid foods made from soy.

Just 4 tablespoons of soy per day is enough to cause estrogen dominance and hypothyroidism. Estrogen dominance is BAD news for the autoimmune sufferer. This hormone is proinflammatory and will make your autoimmune symptoms worse! Additionally, hypothyroidism suppresses immune function.

Hypothyroidism can also make you cold and fat. Who wants that?!?! I noticed after I switched from cow’s milk to soy milk that I suddenly no longer needed my air conditioning, even when it was over 100 degrees outside.

Note: I am not saying to drink cows milk either. A good substitute for soy milk is the delicious almond milk.

A study of babies born to vegetarian mothers, published in January 2000, found that mothers who ate a vegetarian diet during pregnancy had five times the risk of delivering a boy with a birth defect of the penis. The authors of the study suggested that the cause was greater exposure to plant estrogens in soy foods popular with vegetarians.

Soy is also naturally high in MSG. I have seen soy food companies who label their foods MSG free. They are lying and unfortunately, they can legally do it!

Tips On Choosing Discount Tires

Filed under: Wheels — admin @ 1:11 am

There is a saying by a famous tire manufacturer Michelin: “So much is riding on your tires.” This is true no matter if you’re driving a sport coupe or an electric scooter. Cheap tires can damage a great car, and great tires can do wonders for a worn out vehicle. Luckily, today, thanks to technological advances, you can buy a great set of discount tires and still be quite happy about them.

If you understand that you have to buy new tires, you have a few options. The easiest way is to buy the exact size and brand of tires that your vehicle had when you picked it at the dealership. However, you may choose to upgrade your tires depending on what driving conditions you currently have or foresee. There are many reasons to change the tires for a different model. While some people look for a new design they may simply change the wheel and use the same tires as before. Some people prefer to wait till they need new tires and then they upgrade for a larger diameter of the wheel and new tires at once.

When choosing your new discount tires you should honestly evaluate your driving needs and habits. If you really want to enjoy your ride, you need to find a reliable discount tire store which will not push you towards the most expensive make, but rather help you pick the brand that does justice to your car while remaining within your budget. The type of the tire also depends on the driving conditions you normally drive in.

Here are some factors you should consider when choosing your discount tire set:

Tread life of the tires will determine how long a set of tires would last. Life expectancy of the tires is estimated by the manufacturer under governmental guidelines after a field testing. The higher the tread life grade, the longer the tire will last.

Wet weather tires are essential if you live in a climate where it rains often. Four-season tires are the best option for wet climates. If it snows often, then you should also have a set of winter tires that you will switch for during the colder season.

Speed rating is an often underestimated factor in choosing the right set of discount tires. In the USA the speed limit hardly ever climbs over 75mph. In Europe the lovers of speedy rides can really get loose, but in North America you can hardly ever need a tire capable to ride over 100mph - even though you will not likely need to drive this fast. Speed ratings show the safe top speed of a tire and are marked with letters, with Q as lowest and V as highest. You can always go for the ultra-performing tire for speedy sports cars, but this quality is something that you will almost never use.

High- or low-profile? Low-profile tires look really stylish but these tires cannot always bear the hardships of the real road with all the bumps and cracks. Plus, with low-profile tires the wheel is getting damaged faster. Higher-profile tires often mean a safer and smoother ride.

That’s the basics on tires, which you need to know before you start looking for a discount tire store, either online or offline. Even if you choose to go discount, it’s really hard to buy a truly awful set of tires. Usually all tires on the market today can be touted as bad or good depending on how you use them and how you drive your car. Be honest with your expectations and choose the best discount set of tires you can afford.

Kathryn Whittaker writes articles on a number of different topics. For more information on Discount Tires please visit www.tires-guide.com/ and for additional Tire articles please visit the following article www.tires-guide.com/tire-articles/.

Why “Idle Hands” Create Stagnation in Our Lives

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:48 am

You’ve probably heard the phrase, “Idle hands are the devil’s tools” — meaning if you don’t have something to keep you busy, you’re likely to get into trouble. That can be argued of course, since the intent to cause trouble probably has to be present also.

However, the concept itself does hold some truth regarding what we create in our lives. If it’s true that we get back what we put out (into the universe), then it’s easy to see why “idle hands” would be a bad thing for us. Life on this planet is an exercise in creating our own reality. Moment to moment, we are making decisions. Whether we act or don’t act, we are putting forth our intent.

Every action has a consequence, either good or bad. Remember the concept, “like attracts like.” Imagine that every bit of energy you put out is traveling the universe, gathering similar energy, and eventually being returned right back to you. It makes you think more carefully about what type of energy you are putting out every day, doesn’t it? If we do nothing, we get nothing back (or at least nothing very good). Our lives become boring, empty shells. The very act of not moving, not doing, not creating causes stagnation.

Does that mean that as long as we keep busy, we’ll have lots of prosperity and joy? Not necessarily. Remember that we need to focus our intent on what we’re creating. We need to engage in the act of conscious creation every day, putting out positive, purposeful energy. What we get back is more positive energy, more abundance and more joy.

Conscious creation means thinking about what you want to do with your time, moment to moment. There are 24 hours in a day — 1,440 minutes — 86,400 seconds. Some of it has to be put aside for work, sleep, family, errands, housework, and the like. What are you doing with the rest of that time? Are you wasting it on mindless pursuits, or focusing it into purposeful activities? I’m not referring to just hobbies here, either. This is a process that can be applied to every aspect of our lives. Whether we have a lot of time to devote to hobbies or not doesn’t matter. What matters is that we consciously focus our intent on building our circumstances, one minute at a time.

Some of us live our lives on autopilot. It’s not that we don’t want to do anything, we just don’t know what to do. We have no direction, no passion, no purpose to work toward. We get up each morning, go to work, come home and lose ourselves in the television for the rest of the night. In the process, we are creating more of the same stagnant energy. If this describes you, it’s time to shake things up! Develop some passions. Get excited about something. Turn your idle hands into busy hands and create something magical. The very act of moving will put energies into motion and begin pulling more favorable circumstances into your life.

Keep in mind this is a cumulative process and it takes time to fully transform your circumstances. One day of activity and purpose won’t change everything around. Remember that you probably have months or years of stagnant energy built up that has resulted in your life the way it is today. By consistently working at it and keeping that positive energy in motion, it will begin to feed on itself and create even more positivity.

The Synergy Effect

Filed under: Management Resources — admin @ 7:05 pm

Have you ever considered that everything you want in life comes from someone else? The greatest minds in any field are keenly aware of the value of working with and involving others in life plans, business, work and personal commitments.

We often have the notion that we operate in a vacuum, and that we are solely responsible for everything that happens in our lives. It is true that you are solely responsible for the thoughts you think and the things to which you choose to be committed. But when you reflect on all of your accomplishments, it becomes evident that many people play various roles in your achievements and pursuits. Since others are almost always involved at some level in our lives, a good question to ponder is how to effectively involve others more meaningfully.

Synergy, according to Webster’s Dictionary is the “cooperative action of discrete agencies such that the total effect is greater than the sum of the effects taken independently.” Note that a single horse can pull several thousand pounds. Two horses of equal size can pull nearly 4 times that. One community volunteer, who learned late in life the value of working with others, commented upon receiving a presidential award: “I thought about how you can’t do anything by yourself, but with other people you can change things.” What a simple yet profound truth! One key area to focus upon is the manner in which they seek others to be enrolled in what is important to them. The first step, of course, is to realize the value of others.

Next, we need to select the right people to work with us, to flesh out what we desire to create. Potential helpers are everywhere. Another important task for effective people is to clearly communicate the project or goal at hand. The help that is needed will lift any project into the stratosphere. This is similar to the “mastermind group” as outlined in Napoleon Hill’s best-seller, Think and Grow Rich. In the chapter about the mastermind group, Hill expounds on the importance of aligning others in word, deed and advisement on any project. Hill further declares that a separate and distinct mind is created in the assembly of such a group and that the power derived from it is profound indeed.

Carefully look for more effective ways of communication. Not only is this enriching, the lives of others will also be enriched in countless ways. The real call here is to take on an attribute of leadership to draw others in. Synergy is a dynamic form of leverage. Avoid using it, and end up working four times as hard for half the results. Use it and watch the results expand exponentially!

INCREASE YOUR SALES WITH THESE 5 BUYING STIMULATORS

Filed under: Sales — admin @ 11:32 pm

Use these 5 powerful buying stimulators in your ads, web pages
and other sales messages to get more sales. They produce
immediate results without increasing your costs.

1. CONVERT BENEFITS INTO FEELINGS

People usually buy a product or service because they expect to
feel a certain way after the purchase. Keep this in mind as you
develop your ads, web pages and other sales tools.

Use vivid word pictures to dramatize the pleasant feeling your
customer will experience when enjoying the benefit produced by
your product or service. The following portion of a business
opportunity ad I saw recently illustrates this concept:

“No boss. No schedule. No debt. Money to buy what you want and
lots of time to have fun.”

2. DRAMATIZE THE FEELING OF LOSS

After telling your prospect what they will gain from buying your
product or service, tell them what they will lose if they do not
buy it. Most people fear loss more then they desire gain.

Strengthen your selling appeals by reminding prospects of what
they will lose if they do not buy from you. For example, the
above business opportunity ad becomes more powerful by adding
the following:

“Or… continue building wealth for your boss while you struggle
month after month just to pay your bills.”

3. REDUCE PRODUCT CHOICES

Promote only 1 product or service each time you advertise. Most
people have difficulty selecting one product to buy when their
decision forces them to delay or reject buying something else
they also want. When prospects cannot make an easy choice they
often make no decision at all — and you lose the sale.

TIP: Combine several products or services into one package for
one price. Eliminate the difficult decision of selecting and
rejecting items by not including an option to buy any items
separately. You will get more sales because your prospect’s
buying decision is limited to a simple “yes” or “no”.

4. INCREASE THE BUYING OPTIONS

Offering choices of WHAT to buy reduces your sales. But offering
choices of HOW to buy increases your sales. Offer many different
ways for customers to buy from you. The same method is not
convenient for everybody. Prospective customers are more likely
to act immediately when their favorite way of ordering is
available.

For example, many online marketers only accept orders online.
They could easily increase the number of sales they get by
including options to order by phone, fax and postal mail.

5. SIMPLIFY THE BUYING PROCEDURE

You get more sales when you make it easier for customers to buy
from you. Look for ways to make your buying procedure easier and
faster.

For example, many online marketers use a shopping cart to
process their orders — even when they offer only 1 or 2 items.
Don’t force your customers to endure the complicated process of
a shopping cart just to order 1 item. Some will abandon the
process …each one a sale you lost needlessly.

Use a simple online order form instead of a shopping cart when
you offer only 1 or 2 items. It generates more sales.

Each of these buying stimulators will increase your sales. Start
using them now in your ads, web pages and other sales messages.
They will produce immediate results without increasing your
costs.
